Jacek Głowacki

(born in 1958), graduated from the Department of Plastics Technology and Processing at the Agricultural and Technical University in Bydgoszcz, he has also completed a post-graduate course of study at the Collegium of Business Administration at Warsaw School of Economics – field of study: Company Goodwill Management. Jacek Głowacki participated in a training for directors within the scope of “BUSINESS ACADEMY” PKN ORLEN SA: ISO 9000:2000. He passed an exam for Supervisory Board members in the State Treasury companies.
He started his professional career in 1982 in ANWIL SA. He has been working for the company since March 2010 in the capacity of the manager of the Chlorine Electrolysis and Processing Department, a deputy manager of the Chlorine and Soda Lye Plant. During 1998-2010 he was a director of the Fertilizer Complex of ANWIL SA, responsible for the management of the entire operations of the Fertilizer Complex in respect of purchases, production and services, maintaining its operations and sales.
During 1995 – 2001 he chaired the Supervisory Board in APEX – ELZAR Sp. z o.o., then during 2001-2004 he chaired the Supervisory Board in EURO-TRANSCHEM sp. z o.o, while during 2004-2007 he chaired the Supervisory Board in ARBUD Sp. z o.o.

He represented ANWIL SA in PIPACH Fertilizer Committee and in the European Fertilizer Manufacturers Association (EFMA). Jacek Głowacki’s professional successes include: modernization and revitalization of ammonia, nitric acid and fertilizers installations, implementation of new types of fertilizers (sulfur containing CANWIL); significant reduction of gas consumption rate in ammonia production and steam consumption (a switch from the position of a client to a producer), reorganization of fertilizer sale system – thanks to the co-financing of production and stock by business partners – increase of financial liquidity, economic efficiency, reduction of business risk; he also participated in implementing an investment of product confectioning and forwarding.
